Symptom free self-declaration

You must not undertake a driving lesson if you fall into any of these categories:

You or someone you live with has coronavirus symptoms. The symptom list can be found here: GOV.UK COVID Symptoms
You’ve been told by the NHS Test and Trace service that you’ve been in contact with a person who has coronavirus
You have entered or returned to the UK in the last 14 days, except in very limited situations which can be found here: travel exemptions. For more information on GOV.UK COVID border rules please see here.

Face coverings

Face coverings are compulsory on all driving tests and lessons unless you have a legitimate medical condition accompanied by confirmation of this from your medical centre.

Vehicle cleanliness and ventilation

The vehicle will be cleaned in advance of your lesson using anti-viral spray or wipes to clean the door handles inside and outside, the dashboard & any other touch points (e.g. steering wheel, sat nav, mirror). I will also be taking your temperature with a temperature gun and applying sanitizer before we start driving. If the temperature test is failed the lesson will be cancelled immediately and chargeable. It is important to inform me in advance if you are showing symptoms.
